About the role

We are partnering with an AI & IOT product company to look for their Project Manager that looks after the implementation of their Building Management System (BMS). Your responsibilities include overseeing project progress, partnering effectively with fellow project managers, and applying your expertise in both project management and building automation systems (BAS/BMS).

Responsibilities
  • Analyze project scope in depth to set timelines and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate phases including installation, startup, commissioning, turnover, and warranty.
  • Track project progress and managing budgeting.
  • Lead development of project plans and enforce adherence to them.
  • Supervise installations and retrofits, overseeing on-site teams and contractors.
  • Ensure projects follow contract specifications and meet client expectations.
  • Assess resource requirements (e.g., personnel, tools) and document accordingly.
  • Support the sales team with accurate pricing and well-defined scopes for project bids.
  • Relay critical project updates (e.g., equipment changes) to engineering and sales teams to minimize delays and costs.
  • Cultivate an efficient operations team focused on both client and employee satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing delivery and issue-resolution as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAU) and BAS technology, preferably within the construction sector.
  • 3–5 years in project management or project development within building automation.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in buildings.
  • PMP certification is a bonus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholders capabilities.
