Overview

Business Development Manager/Director (OEM)

Location: Singapore HQ or Malaysia

Base pay range: SGD 10,000 - SGD 18,000 + Attractive Commission, commensurate with experience. Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Onsite/Hybrid, 5 days.

Note: This role is with Techware Group, a leading provider of comprehensive advanced manufacturing services with facilities across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Philippines, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of global growth strategies for contract manufacturing services.
  • Deliver insight into market trends, client needs, and competitors; develop unique selling propositions and action plans to accelerate growth.
  • Develop and nurture key customer relationships globally; act as the point of contact for key customers, ensuring high satisfaction and negotiating strategic contracts.
  • Implement new business initiatives across new and existing markets; reach out to prospects, build relationships, and close deals to drive growth.
  • Identify and forge strategic alliances, partnerships, joint ventures, and other opportunities to boost the company’s global growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, engineering) through product lifecycles; ensure alignment with strategic imperatives.
  • Represent the company professionally, mentor future leaders, and model ethical business conduct.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of senior management experience, preferably with global responsibilities in contract manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills; customer-focused with ability to translate needs into deals.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and global business acumen.
  • Experience in contract negotiations with key clients and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Willingness to travel globally.
  • Senior/Director level candidates are welcome to apply; position offered commensurate with experience.
