SAP Maintenance Master Data Specialist (Fixed Term Contract)

Join to apply for the SAP Maintenance Master Data Specialist (Fixed Term Contract) role at Lonza. Location: Singapore, Tuas. This is a 15 months fixed term contract at the Singapore Tuas site.

What You'll Do
  • Identify, create, maintain, and enforce business rules around the various key master data attributes.
  • Review new and changed item attributes to ensure correctness and data quality.
  • Perform data verification and cleansing activities, other master data related setups in ERP system and mass data updates.
  • Support business users, resolve data related issues, answer questions and assist.
  • Data migration between systems as required.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by monitoring and sharing best practices in data usage and providing insight into how teams can use data to support day-to-day decision-making; advise business users on master data topics.
  • Train business users on master data request and improvement processes.
  • Assist with authoring data standards, procedures, work instructions and training materials.
  • Participate in testing of IT system changes.
  • Identify and propose process or system improvement opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to resolve challenging issues relating to Master Data in SAP for CMMS and PM modules (including all aspects of engineering stock materials and equipment spares BOM and its related document system pertaining to CMMS & PM master data base).
  • Initiate and supervise continuous improvement of SAP system and practices on site with respect to achieving compliance, reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years experience, with 4-5 years hands on SAP experience.
  • Relevant pharma industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving ability, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Planning/Work Management.
  • Communication – able to present facts clearly, logically & accurately so that they can be understood by others.
