The HTxAI Products team is committed to empower our Home Team Department (HTD)'s flagship projects through the seamless integration of AI technologies. From identifying opportunities to delivery, launch, and continuous enhancement, HTxAI aims to push boundaries and set new standards in homeland security.

The Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which aims to pioneer innovation solutions and develop world class science and technology capabilities to transform and empower the Home Team in delivering safety and security for Singapore.

• Lead the product management team in identifying opportunities, developing, and managing an array of AI and digital products in the homeland security space while aligning with HTX’s strategic direction, reporting, and monitoring of AI initiatives that ensure public safety and security by supporting Home Team Department operations.
• Guide products through their entire lifecycle from ideation to launch, and ensure ongoing improvements.
• Foster a product-focused development culture within HTX.
• Lead product teams to develop, update, and prioritise long-term product roadmaps by partnering with stakeholders and users.
• Prioritise the delivery of products and features and define launch parameters such as MVP, versioning, releases, and go-to-market communications.
• Collaborate with Solution & Design teams to identify and validate problem statements that help agile teams conceptualise or innovate new AI and digital solutions or evolve current features.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders by communicating value propositions that deliver digital solutions, optimise resources, reduce time-to-market, and cut costs.
• Evaluate and pursue commercial opportunities to co-develop solutions or integrate commercially available products to realise product goals.
• Recommend and manage appropriate methodologies for user discovery, validation, agile development, testing, and regular reporting of results.
• Manage cross-functional agile teams comprising solution and design, engineering, and engagement teams, ensuring alignment on requirements, prioritisation, and delivery.
• Align the team’s resources and performance with stakeholder requirements and individual aspirations.

• Postgraduate or tertiary qualification in information systems, computer science, business, or social sciences.
• Min. 5 to 8 years in digital product management or a similar role, with experience leading a team of product managers.
• Proven track record in defining, launching, and scaling a product.
• Knowledge of agile development processes and product methodologies such as lean and design thinking.
• Technical understanding of digital trends and technologies including emerging technologies.
• Nice to have experience in AI-related technologies, AI/ML, Data Science and Data Analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to adapt to uncertainty and pivot product strategy as customer needs or business strategy evolve.
• User-centric mindset with emphasis on usability.
• Passion for product development and delivering value to users.
• Data-driven decision making, using data and insights to inform product strategy and priorities.
• Supportive and empowering leadership style focused on developing, growing, and delivering results.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from ideation to delivery.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed for permanent tenure based on performance.
