Responsibilities Oversee, monitor and continuously improve the Bank’s whistleblowing arrangements to ensure safe, confidential channels for concerns and regulatory-compliant handling of disclosures. Support the design and delivery of the Group’s Speaking Up programme, aligning with conduct and compliance objectives; enable effective communication channels and open environments for disclosures. Assist in setting measurable objectives for the whistleblowing programme (awareness, accessibility, trust metrics) and monitor regulatory developments to recommend enhancements. Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the Bank’s speak-up culture and encourage early escalation of concerns; support the Global Head, Regulatory and Conduct Risks in high-standard regulatory delivery. Act as a point of contact for whistleblowing enquiries from businesses and functions; collaborate with Employee Relations, Group Investigations and Group Employment Legal on disclosures. Maintain and improve whistleblowing channels, ensuring they are functional, secure and accessible; coordinate investigations and provide subject matter expertise. Develop and deliver regular training and communications to stakeholders; embed a culture of transparency and integrity across the business. Monitor risks related to Speaking Up, including retaliation risk, and support risk-based governance and reporting on the programme. Qualifications & Experience 7+ years experience in Compliance, HR, Investigations or a related control function within financial services. Knowledge of whistleblowing regulations and best practices; strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive matters discretely and influence stakeholders. Skilled communicator capable of building trust with stakeholders and conveying complex issues clearly.
