Leadership & Operations Lead, inspire, and manage dynamic teams across membership, operations, culinary, wine, cellar, facilities, accounts, events, and marketing functions. Partner with senior leadership and the Board, supporting board meetings and annual shareholder meetings. Present confident, credible, and charismatic leadership that motivates staff and reassures members. Be accountable for the operational and financial performance of the business. Business Strategy & Growth Develop and implement strategies to enhance business operations and profitability. Drive innovation and initiate constructive change to continually improve the club’s offerings. Oversee creative direction with a genuine affinity for both food and wine, ensuring both remain integral to the member experience. Lead the design and delivery of unique, high-quality events that engage and impress members. Compliance, Safety & Well-being Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and legal requirements. Champion the health, safety, and well-being of staff and members across all departments. Proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures. Personal Attributes & Leadership Style Demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence, with an acute awareness of how behaviour impacts others. Resilient and adaptable, able to assess and act swiftly in complex situations. Self-motivated, competitive, and driven; collaborative in approach while bringing fresh viewpoints and attention to detail. Strong people manager with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Able to challenge conventional thinking and inspire new ways of working constructively. Project & Financial Management Plan, oversee, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Monitor financial performance, ensuring resources are effectively managed for long-term sustainability.
