Sr. Sourcing Specialist

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist position based in Borivali, India requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in procurement, vendor development, and supply chain management within the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and international trade, and proficiency in multiple languages for effective global communication, including Hindi, English, and Mandarin (Chinese). As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for optimizing sourcing strategies, identifying reliable suppliers, and ensuring seamless procurement operations.Your key responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with domestic and international suppliers, conducting market research and analysis, negotiating pricing and contracts with suppliers, ensuring supplier compliance with industry regulations, managing and optimizing procurement processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, facilitating vendor audits and quality assessments, and providing multilingual support in Hindi, English, and Mandarin (Chinese) during business meetings and negotiations.To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with 8 to 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations, preferably in the chemical industry. Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, knowledge of international sourcing and trade regulations, fluency in multiple languages, strong networking and cross-cultural communication skills, and a passion for strategic sourcing and supply chain efficiency are essential qualifications.Preferred qualifications include experience in global procurement, logistics, and supply chain optimization within the chemical sector, proven ability in handling vendor audits, supplier assessments, and procurement risk management, and exposure to international business negotiations, trade exhibitions, and supplier collaborations.This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at the specified location.,
