We specialise in premium fabrics and silks sourced globally, serving both local and international clients from our heritage storefront at Arab Street.Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our retail and online sales team. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable about fabrics, and comfortable driving sales both in-store and through digital platforms. This role combines traditional retail service with modern e-commerce execution.Key Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional, engaging manner. Advise customers on fabric types, textures, and uses, providing accurate product knowledge. Manage point-of-sale transactions, including cash and card handling. Maintain store cleanliness, display presentation, and stock organisation. Support online sales operations - including product listings, social media enquiries, and fulfilment coordination. Respond to customer queries received through e-commerce channels (Shopee, WhatsApp Business, or website). Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management. Participate in ongoing product and sales training sessions. Qualifications & Requirements Proficient in English and Malay ( good to have ) (spoken and written). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to engage both walk-in customers and online shoppers. Familiarity with e-commerce tools (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, or similar). Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred. Reliable, organised, and proactive with a positive attitude. Open to Singapore Citizens and candidates with valid work authorisation.
