We are seeking a strategic and experienced Site Development Director to lead the technical planning, development, and execution of data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site acquisition, infrastructure design, and construction management, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Development: Lead the technical aspects of new site development, including site selection, acquisition, and early-stage planning. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Site Evaluation: Identify and assess potential sites, conduct due diligence and feasibility studies, and evaluate readiness timelines. Lead negotiations for land acquisition or leasing.
  • Infrastructure Design: Ensure infrastructure design aligns with technical requirements, future scalability, and sustainability goals. Work closely with design and engineering teams on MEP and structural plans.
  • Construction Oversight: Support construction execution to ensure adherence to design, budget, and quality standards. Resolve on-site technical issues and mitigate project risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers. Represent the project in regulatory discussions and community forums. Provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Sustainability & Innovation: Drive the integration of sustainable practices and keep pace with emerging technologies to continuously improve site development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data centre development, infrastructure, or large-scale project management.
  • Expertise in site selection, permitting, and construction across the APAC region.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and familiar with green building practices.
