Company Details:
This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer/Systems Engineer of Cubic Singapore. It involves collaborating with Cubic's Singapore-based and international engineering teams to define maintenance solutions, including developing technical details such as price, schedule, and technical maturity, and supporting engineering efforts involving design, modification, testing, and evaluation of complex systems with hardware, mechanical, optical, and software components.

This role also includes leading and supervising on-site installation, integration, and acceptance activities at customer locations, including remote sites in Singapore and abroad. Post-delivery, the role involves leading through life sustainment and Integrated Logistics Support, with potential engagement in external technical discussions to define training needs and system requirements.

This position typically operates under general supervision with decision-making authority exercised regularly.

Job Details: Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and analyze engineering designs, specifications, and test plans based on customer requirements.
  2. Establish a maintenance process flow for repairs, replacements, and new projects.
  3. Monitor and improve maintenance data, ensuring data substantiation.
  4. Perform maintenance requirement analysis and review system/subsystem design and interfaces.
  5. Assist in developing project concepts, objectives, specifications, and resource needs.
  6. Develop system architectures that relate requirements and interfaces for clear communication to customers.
  7. Participate in project coordination, review meetings, and make presentations to management and customers.
  8. Conduct internal design reviews and technical meetings.
  9. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for maintenance and interface requirements.
  10. Conduct installation, integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
  11. Participate in through-life sustainment and obsolescence engineering.
  12. Develop and deliver technical training materials.
  13. Stay informed of new systems engineering techniques and technological advances.
  14. Contribute to solving engineering problems and improving processes.
  15. Support team members to enhance their systems engineering knowledge.
