About the RoleWe are looking for a Community Manager/Lead to drive the Cronos Ambassador Program, a strategic initiative to decentralize ecosystem growth through a global network of community leaders, creators, educators and builder advocates.
As the Ambassador Program Lead, you will own the development, execution and growth of a tiered ambassador system, structured across multiple contribution tracks such as content, onboarding, community and campaign strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within Cronos to shape the program’s operations, scale regional chapters and empower ambassadors with the tools and incentives they need to thrive.
This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about Web3 community building and ecosystem growth.
Responsibilities- Design and manage community programs that drive user education, engagement, and ecosystem alignment — including (but not limited to) ambassador initiatives, online events, quests and mentorship tracks
- Grow and support regional communities by working with local leads, translators, and KOLs to build trusted, localized experiences
- Champion community feedback loops by surfacing insights and sentiment from users, and translating those into actionable product or marketing recommendations
- Activate and nurture power users by identifying and empowering community leaders, creators and advocates to take on more visible roles
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the ecosystem, developer relations, and marketing teams to align on goals and co-create community-facing campaigns
- Ensure healthy and inclusive community spaces , with clear moderation practices, safety protocols and contributor recognition systems
- Track and analyze key community metrics , generate reports, and iterate on community strategies based on impact and feedback
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in community management or similar roles within Web3
- Hands-on experience in using moderator tools across Discord, Telegram and ideally, Zealy or other similar questing platforms
- Proven ability to design and execute contributor programs or ambassador tracks at scale
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including moderation tone and escalation protocols
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination abilities
- Deep understanding of crypto culture
