As a Sales Manager specializing in B2B sales within the food industry and international markets, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive company revenue on a global scale. Your primary focus will be on identifying new market opportunities, expanding the international customer base, and ensuring the sales team meets and exceeds quarterly and annual targets.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:- Develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets internationally.- Identify new market opportunities in global markets within the food industry and expand the international customer base.Target-Based Sales Execution:- Lead the sales team in meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets on a global scale.- Monitor sales performance across different regions and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met.- Regularly report on sales metrics and progress towards goals, with a focus on international markets.Client Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in both domestic and international markets.- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and concerns promptly, particularly in international dealings.Team Leadership & Development:- Manage, mentor, and develop the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to achieve targets in both domestic and international markets.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team effectiveness across different regions.Market Analysis:- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities in both domestic and international markets.- Provide insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions and product development for global markets.Budget Management:- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for both domestic and international sales efforts.- Track sales expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.Qualifications:Experience:- 15+ years of proven experience in sales, with at least 5 years in B2B sales within the food industry.- Extensive experience in international sales, with a strong understanding of global markets and trade regulations.- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including in international markets.Skills:- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on international team dynamics.- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.Education:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.This is a full-time, permanent position based in Kochi with a salary of 15,00,000/Annum. The age requirement for this role is 48 to 55 years. Other benefits include cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and provident fund.
