Overview

Our client is a high-growth, tech-driven startup with global operations, seeking a Global General Counsel to lead its legal function. The ideal candidate is currently in a global general counsel or equivalent senior legal role, with strong experience in litigation, M&A, and complex contract drafting. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of legal matters across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all legal matters globally, including commercial contracts, litigation, and M&A.
  • Draft and negotiate bespoke agreements for solution-based offerings.
  • Manage litigation and disputes, coordinating with external counsel.
  • Support M&A activities from due diligence to integration.
  • Advise leadership on legal risk, compliance, and governance.
  • Build and scale the legal function with full ownership.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years PQE with global legal leadership experience.
  • Strong experience in contract drafting, litigation management, and M&A.
  • Strategic problem solver with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
