What The Role Is

At Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), we are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our digital transformation journey and shape our product strategy. This senior role will define ACRA's product vision, drive innovation across our digital services, and provide strategic leadership to product teams while ensuring alignment with whole-of-government objectives. The ideal candidate will spearhead our evolution as a trusted business registry and regulator through innovative digital solutions.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Strategic Vision and Leadership: Define ACRA's overall product strategy and digital transformation roadmap. Lead product teams and mentor Lead Product Managers. Align product initiatives with whole-of-government strategic objectives.
  • Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency’s goals. Lead the product leads to achieve this vision.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee multiple product lines and their interconnections. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Market and Customer Research: Conduct market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-department or cross-agency teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs/OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to adjust the product strategy.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive adoption of emerging technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Stay current with industry trends to drive product evolution.
  • Lead the development of the digital roadmap and introduction of digital solutions to partner with cross-functional business teams, whole-of-government and industry partners to achieve greater outcomes.
  • Develop organizational Digital, Design and Data capabilities/competency, digital innovation and continuous improvement to build a high performing team.
  • Support preparation of the Digital Government Blueprint KPIs and related planning activities.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
  • Executive-level stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
