Asia Pacific - Regional Brand Director, Cosmetics Date: 15 Oct 2025 Position Summary Responsible for delivering top and bottom line business goals and results. The Regional Director Cosmetics ensures go-to-market executional excellence, including products, services, and retail experience that capture consumers’ imaginations, and develops an innovative, industry-leading business model to build Cosmetics brand in Shiseido APAC region. Set up a long-term vision of Cosmetics brand in Asia Pacific region, and lead a sustainable business based on uncompromising ethics, integrity, fairness, diversity, and trust. Drive local relevancy for a high-growth strategy, brand equity, lead the delivery of insights that contribute to breakthrough product and service innovation, customer experience, communication, P&L and cost efficiency for Cosmetics brand. Shape Cosmetics brand strategies, plans, and P&L in Asia Pacific region. Preserve brand equity in local affiliates and ensure local relevancy and speed to market that drives growth, and own executional excellence. Identify regional, local and cultural differences in order to properly tailor Brand Holder programs to local consumers and help Brand Holders to anticipate future consumer trends. Have a deep understanding of consumers, competition, market trends, regional and local insights, and emerging opportunities. Lead talent development, and effectively leverage individuals’ strengths and foster a culture of leadership and creativity from every chair, while leveraging the Shiseido Trust 8 Values. Roles and Responsibilities Preserve Cosmetics brand equity. Own and protect Cosmetics’ brand DNA as defined by Brand Holders with local relevance in each Affiliate. Infuse creative inspiration into every element of the consumer experience. Shape and execute a winning growth strategy. Responsible for delivering top and bottom line business goals and results, including current year and long term financial commitment. Ensure topline growth through like door growth, as well as new business models/channel opportunities. Ensure the operationalization and optimization of Cosmetics brand’s operating model to drive local relevancy, speed and agility. Lead strategic market and portfolio analysis, identify growth opportunities. Identify, build, and develop essential capabilities to deliver results while remaining agile. Responsible for successfully integrating Cosmetics from current distributor model to affiliate model in 2021, and also be responsible for future affiliate launches to ensure every launched affiliate launches strong and stays strong. Drive the transformation into a digital-first organization. Influence marketing practices and processes—both traditional and social—to execute with agility across a rapidly-evolving media environment around the world. Ensure the right programs and investment decisions are made. Lead impeccable consumer experiences for all channels. Lead Cosmetics’s brand service models and merchandising formats by channel; accelerate Retail, direct to consumer (Freestanding Stores and Online). Implement the omnichannel strategy and develop necessary capabilities. Maximize in-store consumer engagement by providing multiple, locally-relevant solutions for in-store distortion opportunities in each channel. Develop and implement vision for in-store retail consumer experience to drive conversion, productivity, innovative digital in-store experiences and education. Demonstrate leadership behaviors and develop talent. Build and lead an efficient regional Cosmetics brand organizational structure that executes with excellence and optimizes Affiliate Cosmetics Brand organizations. Model high standards of good decision-making and judgment, collaboration, agility, and accountability. Hire and develop the best people for skills and culture. Actively lead and engage in talent development in order to create high-performing talent across the region. Encourage leadership and creativity from every chair. Leverage individual strengths and leverage all levels of talent. Collaborates with local and regional management in the assessment of the strengths and development needs of region and affiliate talent. Champion and steward. Act responsibly—a business imperative that requires dedicated leadership and planning as well as thoughtful management of the economic, environmental and social impacts. Be the example and ensure best-in-class compliance and corporate governance by creating and sustaining a culture of ethics and integrity within Asia Pacific region. Requirements Minimum 15 years of experience in Beauty – Masstige, Premium Mass preferred. Have built solid local operation experience. Ability to lead, influence, and be able to reallocate resources. A considered, analytical approach to working with concepts, consumers, problem solving, stakeholder management. Flexibility to travel when required.
