Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished senior technology leader to serve as Vice President, Core Platforms & Architecture. This role will oversee the strategic direction, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology platforms, with a focus on supporting core platforms and overall IT architecture. You will play a key role in shaping the digital agenda to support business growth, operational excellence, and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise architecture, application development, and system integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of solution architects and developers to deliver reliable, secure enterprise solutions.
  • Drive the evolution of enterprise IT architecture and technology roadmap, emphasizing agility, simplicity, and integration, especially with COTS platforms like SAP and Workday.
  • Oversee design, customization, implementation, and support of enterprise applications, balancing standardization with business flexibility.
  • Develop and lead enterprise-wide application strategies, including lifecycle management of in-house and COTS solutions.
  • Provide architectural oversight and governance for initiatives such as cloud adoption, data analytics, automation, and middleware integration.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms and frameworks to ensure relevance and value.
  • Establish and enforce technology policies, standards, and best practices for secure and efficient operations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and build relationships across business units and vendors.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, with expertise in architecture, systems integration, and application development across custom and COTS platforms.
  • Deep experience with large-scale COTS implementations, especially SAP and Workday, including integration with legacy and cloud systems.
  • At least 10 years in people management roles leading technical teams in architecture, engineering, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with modern stacks, APIs, and enterprise integration tools.
  • Strong background in program delivery within complex transformation projects, preferably in large consulting or systems integration environments.
