Your Role

  • Support logistics and shipping functions at client premises
  • Forecast and plan shipments based on materials expediting reports
  • Coordinate with suppliers on cargo collection and sourcing suitable sailing options
  • Follow up with overseas offices on freight rates, bookings, and shipment status
  • Source freight rates from carriers and handle bookings
  • Activate shipments, prepare shipping documents, and assign UDR
  • Prepare import/export permits for customs
  • Monitor shipment status daily and update stakeholders
  • Attend shipment status meetings and provide updates
  • Prepare quotations and invoices for billing
  • Coordinate tender preparations and submissions with local and overseas offices
  • Prepare internal project costs, P&L per shipment, and monthly reports
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required

Your Background

  • 2-3 years of experience in international freight forwarding
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, FPSO freight forwarding preferred
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work after hours and handle stress
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills
  • Good English communication skills; Chinese proficiency is a plus
  • Team player with good IT skills in Office365
  • Physically capable of travel
