Job Overview This is a 9-month contract role focused on Conduct Risk management for TB and NNM, including leading the Conduct Risk agenda, forums, and governance processes, and providing subject matter expertise in Conduct Risk and Speaking Up. Responsibilities Lead TB’s and NNM’s Conduct Risk agenda and management, ensuring best-in-class conduct risk management. Act as the primary contact for Conduct issues, providing guidance on Conduct Risk initiatives, and leading Conduct and Supervision Forums. Establish and maintain a Conduct Risk management program, incorporating global and business-specific requirements, and developing guidelines and training. Manage ad hoc initiatives and projects with a Conduct nexus. Participate in the annual Conduct Effectiveness Review of TB’s Conduct agenda, in partnership with 2LoD. Provide input into annual It Matters Conduct training and provide facilitator guidance to People Leaders. Conduct trigger reviews to identify conflicts of interest or conduct issues from changes in the business. Facilitate the TB Non-Financial Risk Committee (NFRC) and input to upstream Risk Committees, ensuring non-financial risks are identified, assessed, and managed within the approved Risk Appetite; keep business leaders informed for decision-making. Oversee preparation of monthly committee submissions (MI, papers, escalations) and ensure quality review of submissions. Host NFRC meetings, facilitating productive and risk-focused discussions. Document minutes, key decisions, and follow up on actions to ensure execution and closure. Coordinate input to CIB level Financial and Non-Financial Risk Committees, briefing business heads for meetings. Develop strategies around the Conduct and Supervision approach within TB and NNM, collaborating with stakeholders, HR partners, and 2LOD. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Conduct Risk developments and their impact on TB and NNM; perform gap analysis and embed proactive measures to address risks. Ensure NFRC submissions/discussions provide insights and recommendations on emerging risks to senior business leaders. Strategy Develop and implement Conduct and Supervision strategies within TB and NNM. Stay current on Conduct Risk developments and their impact; close gaps and promote best practices. Provide insights to senior leaders from NFRC submissions and discussions. Business Act as the primary point of contact for all Conduct issues in TB and NNM; promote the Conduct and Speaking Up Policy, Standards, Framework, and Culture. Provide subject matter expertise on Conduct Risk and Speaking Up to TB and NNM. Facilitate TB NFRC and related governance processes to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed within approved risk appetite. Processes Establish, revise, and maintain a Conduct Risk management program across TB and NNM, aligning with bank-wide approach and global/regional requirements. Maintain and evolve metrics and dashboards to monitor aggregate Conduct Risks across institutional measures and individual behaviour. Lead Conduct and Supervision Forums with Senior Business Heads, preparing agenda and materials and facilitating discussions. Coordinate input to CIB level committees and brief business heads for meetings. Facilitate monthly TB NFRC meetings and follow up on actions to support execution. Risk Management Drive a consistent approach to supervision and management of Conduct Risks across TB & NNM. Conduct thematic reviews, document decisions, and follow up on actions. Develop guidelines and training on Conduct risk management compliant with regulatory standards. Conduct trigger reviews to identify conflicts of interest or conduct issues. Act as secretariat and facilitator of the NFRC, overseeing risk assessments and residual risks. Governance and Regulatory Oversee NFRC meetings, including agenda, materials, and minutes, and ensure action follow-up. Manage and update Terms of Reference for the TB NFRC and TB Conduct Forum with the Chairperson. Ensure NFRC and Conduct Forums comply with governance standards and regulatory requirements.
