Direct message the job poster from Aitek Group SAP SD Lead Consultant (Brownfield Implementation – Retail Industry) Duration: 10–12 Months (Contract) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible Project Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Lead Consultant to lead the Sales and Distribution (SD) workstream in a brownfield S/4HANA implementation project for the retail industry . The consultant will be responsible for driving the end‑to‑end SD design, ensuring alignment with retail business operations, and enabling a smooth migration from ECC to S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities: Lead the SAP SD module through all phases of the brownfield S/4HANA implementation—from requirement gathering and design to testing, go‑live, and hypercare. Analyze existing business processes and align them with S/4HANA SD best practices . Design and configure key SD functionalities, including Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) , pricing, billing, shipping, and returns management. Collaborate with business users to capture and validate functional requirements. Drive integration with MM, FICO, PP, and other modules to ensure seamless data and process flow. Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements. Lead UAT cycles, data validation, and end‑user training. Oversee migration activities for customer master, pricing, and sales documents. Support go‑live preparation, hypercare, and issue resolution. Provide leadership and mentorship to onsite/offshore SD team members. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) , including full‑cycle implementation and support projects. Minimum one S/4HANA brownfield conversion or upgrade as an SD Lead . Strong domain expertise in retail, consumer goods, or distribution industries . Deep understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes, including order management, delivery, invoicing, credit management, and returns. Experience with S/4HANA simplifications , Fiori apps , and new pricing models . Integration experience with MM, FICO, and EWM modules. Familiarity with intercompany billing , third‑party sales , and POS integration is an advantage. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Experience in Singapore or regional ASEAN rollouts preferred.
