Overview

Head of Market Communication role at Festo . This role owns market communication on behalf of the cluster and contributes to the definition of the global mid- and long-term marketing strategy for an industry segment, topic, technology, or product. The incumbent develops and executes the digital footprint plan in collaboration with the Digital Business Development team and ensures the successful utilization of the organisation’s shared services. They monitor performance and drive continuous improvement while combining expert knowledge of the topic with extensive management and leadership experience. Within the overall strategic framework, they create a strategy and plan for the relevant function, ensuring that human and non-human resources, processes, and tools are available to support success.

Responsibilities
  • Digital / Online Marketing
    • Support the Digital business team with relevant campaigns to increase the digital business share to the company
    • Enhance the digital competence of the team with relevant roles
    • Work with the digital marketing team to drive the overall metrics of digital marketing
  • Offline Marketing
    • Derive market communications objectives from management goals in the form of a Marketing activity plan
    • Support Product Marketing Team in product launches, campaigns, webinars / road shows, etc.
    • Drive the localisation of communication instruments like catalogues, brochures, etc.
    • Support distributors to increase reach
  • Corporate Communications
    • Responsible for crafting messages, developing and executing a communications strategy across content marketing mediums, including traditional media, social media, webinars, white papers, case studies and email newsletters
    • Develop corporate presentations to promote brand and reinforce the company's reputation as an innovator and thought leader
    • Edit and/or write copy for publications, letters, advertisements, audio/visual presentations, speeches and other communication programs
    • Manage the research, writing, design and production of materials
    • Develop and orchestrate internal and external communications
