Manager / Senior Manager (Contract) - (Development Project Services)

As a Manager (Development Project Services), you will be responsible for the development and upgrading of building facilities, which will include oversight of all projects from planning and approval to execution, and you will provide timely status updates to management. You will plan, manage and oversee the development of project works to effectively meet the operational needs and service requirements, within the allocated time schedule, budget and quality targets, and ensure that specifications meet statutory requirements and corporate goals and objectives. You will work closely with user departments, project consultants and building authorities to ensure that project specifications consider patient care, infection control, operational process efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hospital Planning Committee and related Committees on schedules, budgets and tenders, administrative support and updates.
  • Coordinate, synchronize and manage requirements between service planning, integration of care, infrastructure and other service areas during the course of the project.
  • Oversee full implementation of projects, maintaining liaison between users and consultants.
  • Collaborate with consultants, project managers and users of the master plan to ensure government interests are safeguarded and development is completed in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Work with workgroups and users to collate requirements and coordinate submission and approval of funding/budget for pre-development and development projects.
  • Ensure progress, budget and quality of development align with established programmes/guidelines.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by RO / HOD.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management/Architecture/Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in project management in a healthcare organization or building industry.
  • Strong teamwork, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Good administrative abilities and a high degree of initiative.
