Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant/Assistant Manager to oversee tax compliance and reporting for both direct and indirect taxes. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, managing tax audits, handling transfer pricing documentation, and ensuring proper tax accounting and record‑keeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong tax background and be able to execute both simple and complex tax strategies. What You Will Be Responsible For Tax Compliance & Reporting Prepare and review tax returns for direct and indirect taxes (e.g., corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, etc.) Maintain compliance with local and international tax regulations, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Tax Accounting & Provisions Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Ensure accurate tax payments are processed timely and properly recorded in financial accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax accounting. Others Assist in handling tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring proper documentation and response strategies. Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, including the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation. Maintain proper tax records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and legal, to support business decisions. Provide tax support for M&A, restructuring, financing, and other strategic business initiatives. How You Will Stand Out Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (CPA, CA or equivalent certification is a plus). 5-6 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a multinational or group setting. Strong understanding of direct & indirect tax laws, tax accounting, and transfer pricing principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
