As a Sr. Item Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing enterprise item data to ensure a superior experience for guests both in stores and online.Your primary responsibility will be to complete item set-ups within the designated service level by collaborating with merchant teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners. You will ensure partners adhere to item data requirements, maintain data accuracy, and uphold consistency across categories. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will validate and rectify data in alignment with category strategies. Additionally, you will oversee pre/post Target.com launch readiness, addressing issues, and liaising with external vendors and internal partners for troubleshooting, remediation, and communication.In this role, you will be involved in developing best practices and process enhancements, taking on advanced roles and responsibilities including special projects as assigned. You will also contribute to training and mentoring new hires and peers, while supporting business priorities as needed. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and prioritization skills are essential. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can embrace ambiguity, remain flexible, multitask with a sense of urgency, and take initiative.
