Physiotherapist – SPD (Singapore) Join to apply for the Physiotherapist role at SPD. Responsibilities Clinical Management Manage a caseload of routine and standard cases with proficiency and independence. Assess, develop, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions for clients with physical, functional, or mobility difficulties in accordance with programme approach, framework, and SOPs. Collaborate with the client care team (multi-, inter-, trans-disciplinary) to work with clients on a one-to-one basis, in groups, or in special settings based on programme requirements and client levels of functioning. Monitor clients’ physiotherapy progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and review needs in accordance with programme requirements. Provide physiotherapy consultation, support, and updates on clients’ progress to caregivers and all members of the client care team. Refer clients to respective specialists for consultation and further treatment or training as needed. Conduct home, school, or workplace visits when necessary. Provide physiotherapy-related training on relevant platforms when required. Clinical Administration Participate in departmental administrative duties and operational processes to support service delivery. Ensure timely documentation of clinical records for all cases and timely reporting in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements. Contribute to service quality assurance initiatives, including audits, risk identification, and incident reporting. Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and resources for the programme. Clinical Teaching and Supervision Provide on-the-job guidance to other staff, caregivers and volunteers in the execution and maintenance of physiotherapy programmes. Share knowledge and best practices with peers and junior staff when required. Provide physiotherapy-related training on relevant platforms when required. Professional Development Actively engage in continual professional development to maintain and enhance clinical competency. Participate in literature reviews and research-related activities to support evidence-based practice. Keep abreast of the latest developments in physiotherapy and apply relevant knowledge to clinical work. Attend and contribute regularly to staff meetings, case conferences, in-services, and other required meetings. Other Activities Participate in cross-divisional committees or events as required. Represent SPD in networking with other community organizations as requested. Engage in other duties as assigned from time to time. Requirements Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised by the Allied Health Professional Council. Eligible for registration as a Physiotherapist under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in local languages is an advantage.
