An exciting opportunity has arisen at AMK-THK Hospital for qualified Physiotherapists to join our integrated care team. We are looking for outgoing and flexible individuals with proven experience in adult rehabilitation. Candidates who can demonstrate sound assessment, clinical reasoning and complex discharge planning skills are welcome to apply. The hospital provides a full suite of rehabilitation to patients with stroke, fracture, post-surgical deconditioning, etc. The rehab unit has a well-established multidisciplinary team approach, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop clinical expertise in areas such as stroke, dementia, frail elderly or fractures, with support from the multidisciplinary team. The candidate will work alongside other therapists and be involved in the supervision and support of junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants and students.

Responsibilities
  • Work within the integrated care team to deliver physiotherapy services to adults in rehabilitation.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with sound clinical reasoning.
  • Contribute to discharge planning and ensure effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and support junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants and students as part of the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum a degree in Physiotherapy
  • Conditional/full registration with AHPC
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
