About the role You will be part of a cross-functional, self-organizing DevOps squad that is responsible for the existing DevOps pipeline and future new ones. You will be collaborating with Infra, Dev, and security teams for reliable and production-ready pipelines. In your capacity as the DevOps Engineer/Specialist in the squad, you will be responsible for the design and development of DevOps solutions. Adopt sound design and good practices in delivering quality work, and align the DevOps discipline to cater to scaling and evolving business transaction demand, while consistently looking for ways to improve and optimize the existing DevOps solution. Job scopes Pickup and kick-off cards with leads to understand the task, obtain all required clarifications, and propose alternative solutions. Assess and implement new changes in good quality with test coverage. Showcase and review the new changes together with team members. Actively work with other development and QA members to solve challenges. Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to other team members. Carry out feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features. Proactively contribute innovative ideas for improvements. Evaluate, select and formulate the best solution for technical spike cards. Support production environment and attend escalated issues if required. Job requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any equivalent Familiar with GitLab and all its tools Around 2 years’ experience in deployment pipelines/testing tools (e.g., end-to-end tests and spec tests) Familiarity with AWS (AWS certifications such as SysOps or DevOps Pro) Must have CKA certification Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, Python, Ruby, Golang, OS deployment scripting Experience in automation using Lambda or scripts Familiarity with Packer by HashiCorp, Terraform by HashiCorp, Kubernetes External Secrets, kube2iam Experience in Agile Development Methodology Test Driven Development and Trunk-based development Thank you for your interest We respect your privacy and all communication will be treated with confidentiality.
