Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board. Analyze financial data to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses — including those written in Chinese. Ensure compliance with Chinese accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities in both English and Chinese. Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting systems. Internal Controls & Risk Management: Establish and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets; identify and manage financial, operational, and compliance risks; ensure transparency and accountability across departments. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, including bilingual reporting structures; foster collaboration with other departments such as operations, supply chain, and HR; conduct financial training or briefings in Chinese when necessary. Strategic Business Support: Support business expansion, mergers, and acquisitions through financial due diligence; evaluate investment opportunities and capital structure options; provide insights into cost control, pricing, and resource allocation. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a Chinese or regional organization. Strong knowledge of PRC accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate finance. Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
