Senior Associate Director/ Associate Director, Central FP&A Management Reporting

Join the National University of Singapore (NUS) Finance Team. The Office of Finance is a dynamic partner driving financial sustainability and operational excellence, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analytics to enable the University’s ambition and innovation.

The Central FP&A Management Reporting team supports the Finance Director and university leadership in driving financial insights, strategic planning, and performance measurement. The role oversees development and delivery of management reporting, multi-year planning, quarterly financial reviews, and data-driven analysis to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality management reporting with clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate cost efficiency initiatives, productivity metrics, and resource optimization.
  • Benchmark performance against peers and industry standards to inform continuous improvement.
  • Partner with finance and business units to support budgets, multi-year plans, and rolling forecasts.
  • Lead financial review cycles, including variance analysis and senior leadership reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance accuracy and impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A, strategic finance, and business partnering.
  • Proven ability to leverage data analytics and technology tools to drive insights and FP&A effectiveness.
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning in complex environments.
  • Strong project and change management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and align across departments and senior leadership.
  • Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies in finance functions.
  • Knowledge of FP&A best practices, including performance metrics, cost modeling, and scenario analysis.

The position is open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
