Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our client's growing team in the Fintech sector. This role focuses on building the critical backbone that connects product lines across B2C, B2B, and internal systems, with an emphasis on trading or cryptocurrency applications.

Your work will directly shape scalable, high-performance systems for payments, reconciliation, forecasting, risk management, and reporting, driving efficiency and intelligence in our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and build core backend services that integrate B2C, B2B, and internal product lines, with a focus on trading or cryptocurrency systems.
  • Design scalable APIs (RESTful/WebSocket) to enable seamless data and workflow integration for market data, trade execution, or blockchain transactions.
  • Develop intelligent reporting systems for reconciliation, forecasting, and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making in trading/crypto environments.
  • Automate and optimize processes to replace manual workflows with reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Bridge legacy systems using Java while building modern, high-performance services in Python.
  • Integrate with third-party platforms, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain networks, or financial APIs, ensuring flexibility and resilience.
  • Apply MVC principles, service-oriented architecture, and modern best practices to shape system design.
  • Own deployment and reliability by containerizing applications with Docker and managing Unix-based environments.
  • Ensure low-latency and high-availability performance for mission-critical trading or crypto systems.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Proven ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end technical solutions in trading, cryptocurrency, or fintech environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python for backend development, with experience in high-throughput systems.
  • Experience with real-time systems, such as high-frequency trading platforms or blockchain-based applications.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to explore new tools and paradigms in the trading/crypto space.
