Overview
Google's Partnerships Development team seeks and explores new opportunities with Google's partners. You will contribute with business acumen and product knowledge to engage with partners and help them grow using Google's offerings, shaping our applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
About the jobAs a JAPAC Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will manage Google Cloud's relationship with Salesforce in JAPAC, driving regional business execution, aligning with global teams, and fostering relationships with Salesforce’s regional leaders and field teams in Japan and Asia Pacific. You will adapt your approach to market goals and regional nuances, drive the strategic Go-To-Market plan, and collaborate with Salesforce teams, peers in the business, specialist and marketing organizations. You will build strategic relationships with the Salesforce executive suite in JAPAC, the business organization, and SI/channel partners to ensure alignment with the Google Cloud executive team. You will deliver growth across multi-channel motions, drive regular business reviews, and align plans, KPIs and business goals for each major market.
Responsibilities- Own and coordinate 360-degree engagement with Salesforce in JAPAC, collaborating with Google Cloud Business and Procurement to maximize strategic value across sell-to, buy-from and co-sell.
- Identify and scope opportunities for new Salesforce deployments in additional regions on Google Cloud in JAPAC.
- Own the co-sell business number for JAPAC and develop/execute the JAPAC Go-To-Market plan.
- Collaborate with marketing to source new leads/opportunities for Salesforce on Google Cloud and align with SI partner teams at Google and Salesforce.
- Use tools such as propensity analysis and account mapping to qualify and refine the regional pipeline across sub-regions/industries in JAPAC.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 10 years in business development with enablement programs with partners to meet/exceed goals, and launching new GTM offerings; 7 years in cloud-based ISV partnerships or Cloud Marketplaces.
- Experience with Salesforce partnerships or direct responsibility for Salesforce partnerships; familiarity with one or more industry verticals (Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Media and Entertainment, Telecommunications).
- Ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial/benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners; ability to navigate nuanced SaaS business conversations.
- Understanding of Salesforce’s product portfolio or similar CRM/Customer Service/ERP solutions.
