Job Summary This is a Group Credit Card product governance role focused on execution of Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) Global Credit Card (CC) Strategy. It encompasses the management and delivery of Credit Card profitability maximization initiatives, mandates delivery, governance initiatives and documentation matters. Responsibilities Lead Card Product Governance‑related activities for the group: product programme governance management and periodic reviews. Review global policies and standards, manage dispensations and implementation of policies/regulations across markets. Participate in Incentive Plan forums. Manage corrective actions and periodic policy validations on bank platforms. Own operational component of scheme engagement: leading monthly operational calls with schemes, overseeing scheme mandate implementation, supporting discussions with schemes, ensuring scheme governance, validating bank policy with schemes, Operation Rules Validation, and scheme fees cost reduction. Define operation engagement with Mastercard and Visa globally. Support execution by engaging with analytics, finance, operations, third parties for fulfilment, and one delivery team for tech/experience changes. Work with delivery teams or tech teams to deliver internal, regulatory and scheme compliance. Lead implementation of initiatives to reduce cost of scheme processing. Collaborate cross‑geographies, functions, and levels; promote inclusive environment. Participate in risk and governance forums, present global CC position, ensure controls and accountabilities, translate control strategies into execution activities with country stakeholders. Lead implementation of key policies, standards, regulations and scheme mandates; ensure compliance. Embed highest standards of ethics, reviewing compliance with laws, regulations, and Group Code of Conduct; identify, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Retail Analytics and Analytics COE. Our Ideal Candidate Academic Degree (preferably in Banking & Finance). 10+ years of experience in Banking. Role Specific Technical Competencies Product Governance. Interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Change management, knowledge of bank’s systems and platforms. Understand Risk Frameworks. Understanding CC and WRB financial model.
