As a Fab Process & Equipment Engineer at Micron, you will work with a team of engineers responsible for process start‑up, development, and optimization. Your role includes driving product yield, quality, and reliability improvements; reducing cost and cycle time; managing risk; troubleshooting complex manufacturing line issues; and coordinating process, equipment, and material evaluations. You will apply failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and other engineering methodologies to diagnose and resolve process‑related problems, and you will support new equipment qualifications, internal and customer audits, and supplier engagement to achieve best‑in‑class performance. Responsibilities Establish and improve process conditions and technologies. Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost. Establish and modify process management projects. Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment. Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment and materials. Analyze data and perform root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve process issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science. Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking skills. Effective communicator who can collaborate across all levels. Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning. Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable. Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments, and engineering statistical data analysis is advantageous.
