Responsibilities of the EUC Operations Lead include:

  • Developing and executing a forward-thinking EUC strategy aligned with IT and business goals.
  • Identifying emerging technologies to enhance end-user experience and foster innovation.
  • Overseeing delivery of all end-user computing services, including desktop support, device management, VDI, software deployment, and collaboration tools.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the EUC team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Managing team resources, budgets, and performance.
  • Championing the end-user experience, ensuring services are reliable and meet business needs.
  • Implementing feedback mechanisms for continuous service improvement.
  • Ensuring security and compliance of end-user devices and systems, working with security teams.
  • Overseeing asset management, procurement, deployment, and disposal of hardware/software assets.
  • Managing vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met and value is delivered.
  • Collaborating with other IT departments and stakeholders for seamless service integration.
  • Overseeing resolution of complex end-user issues and implementing proactive measures.
  • Developing and managing the EUC budget.
  • Leading technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 20 years of IT experience, with 10+ years in leadership managing end-user services.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, OS (Windows, macOS), mobile platforms, virtualization, collaboration, and video conferencing technologies.
  • Experience with device management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
  • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
