What you’ll do- Sales Planning and Execution: Create and deliver compelling sales pitches to existing merchants, driving engagement and retention. Negotiate with existing merchants to drive revenue growth (promotions, marketing exposure, supply strength, partner programs, etc.) to help surpass goals.
- Merchant Communication and Strategy: Maintain regular communication with merchants, conduct business reviews, identify opportunities, and provide updates on a routine basis.
- Partner Engagement and Relationship Management: Build trust and relationships with partners to enhance their sales potential across Klook’s platforms, conveying Klook’s strengths and brand value while understanding merchants’ business situations and requirements.
- Key Account Management: Apply key account management principles to nurture and expand relationships with priority merchants.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to quarterly strategic planning and improvement initiatives aimed at achieving supply strength metrics goals.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal functions (e.g., marketing, supplier operations, customer service, finance) to maximize sales, ensure alignment, enhance operational efficiency, and drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales Portfolio management.
- Experience in key account management or OTA supply is preferable; familiarity with travel-related products (attractions, activities, tours, transportation) is preferred.
- Advanced Sales Techniques: Mastery of complex negotiations, strategic partnerships, consultative selling, and high-level relationship management to drive growth and secure large-scale partnerships; ability to formulate scalable sales strategies.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with key/large merchants and partners.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor actions, and account metrics to enable data-driven decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Ability to tackle complex merchant needs with innovative, strategic approaches to drive sales.
- Commercial Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit to grow business and align with real-world trends.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, metrics, and industry landscapes, with knowledge of Klook’s products and strategic vision.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to lead and inspire teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
