Associate / Deputy / Project Manager

We are seeking an Associate / Deputy / Project Manager to join our diverse team at Glamco. Our project managers are key to our operations and will support our growing business needs. They will be responsible for the project and system maintenance lifecycle, ensuring high customer satisfaction and project delivery on time and within budget.

Candidates must demonstrate initiative, independence, hands-on approach, aspirations for increased roles and responsibilities, and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Associate / Deputy / Project Manager will leverage their expertise to support both internal Glamco and external customer projects for our Singapore commercial program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Manage the project and system maintenance lifecycle from proposal development through project kickoff, initial design, development, testing, customer acceptance testing, and system maintenance.
2. Collaborate with the Business Development Team to determine project scope.
3. Lead, plan, execute, and commission projects within scope, schedule, and budget, managing resources and coordinating team efforts.
4. Monitor project progress, budget, resources, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope and requirements.
5. Develop project control and reporting procedures, managing operational changes.
6. Conduct project status reviews with team members and clients.
7. Coach and advise team members to meet project goals and resolve technical issues.
8. Perform system engineering, software testing, procurement, and create project documentation.
9. Coordinate hardware/software orders with distributors and partners.
10. Develop project kickoff presentations covering scope, timelines, risks, stakeholders, etc.
11. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to advance project progress.
12. Oversee project closure and lessons learned sessions.
13. Report to the Director and stakeholders on project delivery.
14. Guide technical staff in after-sales support and maintenance, overseeing incidents.
15. Ensure SLA and customer satisfaction levels are met.
16. Develop and maintain SOPs, processes, and guidelines.
17. Research new technologies to support programs.
18. Perform other technical or operational duties as required.

1. Preferably a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Communications, IT, or equivalent with experience in the SI industry.
2. Minimum of 4 years in project management handling OT and/or IT systems for government projects.
3. Knowledge of Radar or RF products is a plus.
4. Experience with networking, firewalls, and IT systems is advantageous.
5. CAPM certification or higher preferred.
6. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
7. Hardware, software, and technical aptitude.
8. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
9. Proactive, disciplined, good judgment, and eager to take on responsibilities.
10. Willing to learn new technologies and work under pressure.
11. Available for weekend and overtime work.
12. Willing to travel overseas as required.
13. Possess a Class 3 Manual driving license.
14. Singaporean only.
