Overview Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) seeks qualified procurement professionals in a global, fast-paced telecom environment. This is a contract role within a Global Procurement team focused on end-to-end sourcing processes and data integrity across global spend categories. Position Summary The Accounting Data & Documentation Screener is a meticulous and detail-oriented professional responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial data and supporting documentation. This role involves reviewing, verifying, and mapping accounting information to align with historic records. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and a commitment to zero tolerance for errors. Key Responsibilities Data screening and verification: Scrutinize historic accounting data, including invoices, expense reports, and receipts/attachments, to verify accuracy and completeness; ensure all necessary fields are filled correctly. Documentation mapping: Verify mapping and link supporting documentation to corresponding financial transactions within the accounting system; maintain a clear audit trail. Error reporting: Identify and report discrepancies, missing information, or incomplete documentation to the supervisor. Record maintenance: Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records in an orderly and accessible manner. Collaboration: Work with team members to resolve documentation issues and improve data quality processes. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Error rate: Maintain a high accuracy standard, minimizing data entry and documentation errors. Screening volume: Meet defined targets for screening and mapping documents per day/week with quality. Turnaround time: Complete screening and mapping within established timelines. Documentation compliance: Achieve high compliance with internal and external quality standards. Quality standard: Ensure work passes audits with minimal findings related to data accuracy or documentation. Qualifications Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: Experience in data entry, accounting support, or administrative roles. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Note: This is a time-critical role where precision and timeliness are paramount.
