Responsibilities And Tasks

• Ensure Micron's safety programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to the Management System and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement functional, cost-effective solutions for safety issues
• Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety walks, inspections, and audits to ensure operations comply with Micron safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents and recommend preventive/corrective action
• Collect, analyze, and communicate safety-related metrics and performance measurements
• Support ISO System by participating in internal audits to continuously improve our safety program and procedures
• Identify, develop, and provide safety training in accordance with company goals and objectives

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field e.g. Engineering
• Safety and Health Certifications are preferred (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, ISO auditor training and certification)
• Experience with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Ability to read and develop understanding and interpretation of safety regulations
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration
