Education Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, or Communication Engineering preferred.
  • Exception may be made for candidates with strong hands-on working experience in:
  1. Radar systems
  2. Radio systems
  3. RF communication systems
  4. Command, Control, and Communication (C3) systems
  5. Port systems, IT systems, or Networking
Mandatory Skills
  • Maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electronic / RF communication systems.
  • Defect management and reporting.
  • Coordination with maintenance contractors.
  • Shift-based system monitoring and response.
Preferred Skills
  • Command and Control Systems (C2/C3).
  • Experience in system health monitoring tools, alarm management, and fault escalation processes.
  • Familiarity with port operations, mission-critical IT/communication infrastructure, or defense-related systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance and support services for client systems (electronic, RF, and communication-related).
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance activities during duty, including preventive and corrective actions.
  • Perform defect management and reporting for maintenance equipment.
  • Oversee work completed by client-appointed maintenance contractors at system sites.
  • Coordinate repair/maintenance activities, resources, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Perform standby duty at client’s operations centres for immediate response to system faults.
  • Conduct system health monitoring, daily checks, and attend to faults raised by operations users.
  • Provide timely technical support and regular updates to operations users regarding fault resolution.
  • Monitor and report system alarms, alerts, and faults to the client’s appointed contractors.
  • Support client in managing maintenance-related documentation and information.
Working Hours (Including Meal Breaks)
  • Day Shift: 0900 – 2130 hrs
  • Night Shift: 2100 – 0930 hrs (next day)
  • Average of 15–16 shifts per month (12-hour roster).
  • Subject to adjustments for specific daytime or weekday-only work activities.
