Supplier Engineer

We have offices in the United States, the Middle East, Singapore, Taiwan, Ireland, and several other locations.Roles & Responsibilities: Supplier Evaluation and Selection:

• Evaluate potential elastomer suppliers based on quality standards, capabilities, and production capacity.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to select vendors that meet the company’s requirements and standards.
• Supplier Auditing:
  • Conduct regular audits of elastomer suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Performance Management:
  • Monitor the performance of elastomer suppliers through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards to track performance over time.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Establish quality control processes for incoming elastomer materials.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of elastomer materials, properties, and processing techniques to provide technical support to suppliers and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in elastomer technology.

Eligibility Criteria: Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in supplier engineering or quality engineering roles, with a specific focus on elastomers.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in evaluating elastomer materials, understanding their properties, and familiarity with processing techniques.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, auditing, and performance management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring product quality and reliability.
