KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITES

Administer routine physical and occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist;

Assist residents for ambulation training through the use of walkers, braces or parallel bars;

Assist residents to perform exercises through the use of Physiotherapy exercise equipment;

Supervise residents in practicing activities of daily living and leisure participation;

Plan and facilitate group exercise and activity sessions under the guidance of the Physiotherapist and Occupational therapist;

Observe residents’ reaction during treatment, ensure safety and report them promptly to Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist;

Perform administrative duties including documentation of residents’ exercises and activity sessions accordingly and attendance taking;

Clean and sterilize equipment used and rehabilitation areas;

Any other administrative duties that may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

NITEC in Community care or WSQ Certificate in Therapy Service;

Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
