Overview

The University Counselling Services (UCS) (Health and Wellbeing, Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the general student population in National University of Singapore (NUS), as well as specific students who are exposed to acute mentally-stressful events. As a Case Manager at UCS, you will provide case management support to individual students and work with departmental leaders to enhance students' health and wellbeing. You will work with a team that is dynamic, fun, and most of all, passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our people.

Responsibilities
  • Case management
  • Crisis management and interventions
  • Single session interventions
  • Mental assessment health related assessments
  • Advocating for student's mental health
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or nursing
  • Able to work with students and staff of culturally diverse backgrounds
  • Able to collaborate and work in a team
  • Able to conduct risk assessment and provide the necessary support and intervention
  • Able to coordinate and manage the caseload of complex and potentially at risk- clients
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including capacity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • At least 3 yrs experience working within a mental health or community case management setting
