**What the role is**
- He / She will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of cases and the timely resolution of cases which will include the following duties and responsibilities: - Ensure the timely and efficient processing of filings received;
- Ensure that cases are scheduled for hearings at the earliest opportunity and within the court's time charter;
- Ensure that related cases are scheduled for hearings before the relevant Judge;
- Draw up and take charge of the hearing roster for the judges, including prompt updating of the rosters whenever changes occur;
- Assist the judges in case preparation work such as case file checks, preparation of case summaries highlighting relevant case issues, writing to and contacting parties before and after case hearings;
- Draft and update Registry guidelines including Standard Operating Procedures for all processes and workflows to ensure consistency in practice and a seamless experience for affected parties;
- Provide information and appropriate guidance to litigants in person in case proceedings, including the drafting and publication of relevant materials such as filing guides for public consumption;
- Attend to feedback received and draft replies where appropriate including taking necessary recovery steps to prevent future occurrence of service lapses;
- Put up monthly statistical reports with analysis to senior management;
- Regularly improve work processes or surface work improvement ideas and suggestions to senior management;
- Ensure continuous service improvements; and - Supervise, train and guide a team of court assistants who are involved in case management.
