Restaurant Captain

Restaurant Captains will be hired to provide the core service of the restaurant's product. These individuals are responsible for delivering the guests' experience on a day-to-day basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Duties- Provide friendly, excellent, and professional service to all guests.
- Handle food and beverage orders and serve guests.
- Assist fellow team members in preparing and setting up the restaurant for service.
- Ensure all amenities and utensils are properly stocked and inspected.
- Assist guests with their requests and deliver service based on their needs.
- Possess knowledge to upsell and be well-versed in all aspects of the menu.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving goals and Key Performance Objectives.
- Upsell, promote, and ensure guests enjoy their dining experience.
- Charm guests with knowledge of food & beverage products in a friendly manner.
- Explain menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Have general knowledge about food allergies, dietary restrictions, and beverage brands to make smooth recommendations.
- Read and adapt to different types of guests and dining clientele.
- Adjust service style to suit the clientele at each table.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant.
- Hardworking, motivated, serious, a team player, and passionate about food, beverage, and service.
- Possess a well-groomed, clean, and professional appearance.
- Prior exposure to leadership training preferred; practical experience and education will also be considered.
