Senior Project Engineer (Water Treatment Solutions)

Responsibilities
  • Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day customer point of contact, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
  • Work as an extension of the customer’s management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.
  • Maintain excellence in written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
  • Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned.
  • Develop detailed water or wastewater treatment system process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering such as technical information and clarifications.
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
  • Review project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc., in the industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering
  • At least 4-5 years of industry experience (Water or Waste water treatment)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project management (e.g., project coordination, documentation and planning)
  • Proficient in water / wastewater system process design or equipment sizing (e.g., RO projection software)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and challenging environment
