VP, Technology (IT Infrastructure, Software & Leadership) Our client, a leading Private Investment firm with a strong regional footprint across Asia, is seeking a VP, Technology to lead its technology strategy, development, and operations. This is a pivotal leadership role for a hands‑on technology executive who can bridge technical excellence with commercial impact in a fast‑paced investment environment. The successful candidate will shape the firm’s regional technology roadmap, oversee software and infrastructure initiatives, and drive digital transformation to enhance deal execution, data analytics, and portfolio management. You will lead a talented regional team and work closely with senior leadership to deliver scalable, secure and high‑performance technology solutions that enable the firm’s continued growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the firm’s regional technology strategy in alignment with investment and business objectives. Oversee IT infrastructure, systems architecture and cybersecurity to ensure a secure, efficient and resilient technology environment. Lead the development and integration of internal platforms supporting deal sourcing, portfolio monitoring and investor reporting. Drive automation, data analytics and digital tools to support investment decisions and operational efficiency. Partner with senior management and investment teams to translate business needs into scalable, technology‑enabled solutions. Build and lead a high‑performing regional technology team with a culture of agility, accountability and innovation. Serve as a trusted advisor on technology strategy, risk management and emerging trends across the firm and portfolio companies. Key Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within Asset Management, Venture Capital, Private Equity or fintech industries. Proven track record in both software development and IT infrastructure leadership. Strong understanding of cloud systems, data governance, cybersecurity and DevOps practices. Hands‑on leader with the ability to balance technical depth and commercial insight. Experience managing technology teams and operations across multiple Asian markets. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
