Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide regional tax advisory support and project management for investments, acquisitions, transactions, funding, etc.
  • Review tax computations, tax returns, and support corporate tax compliance and audits within the Sembcorp Group (Singapore and regional entities).
  • Support related party transactions compliance with Transfer Pricing requirements and documentation.
  • Assist other Group Tax members on projects such as BEPS implementation, compliance, and tax filings.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant tax experience, including international M&A tax structuring and planning.
  • Experience in managing tax matters in countries like China, Vietnam, Philippines, Middle East is preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting/Tax, Accredited Tax Professional, or similar credentials.
  • Strong team player with collaboration, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with attention to detail, accuracy, and under pressure.
  • Growth mindset, staying updated on business, commercial, and technical tax changes.
