Job Description

Primary Purpose: As a Sr. SPA Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the resort's spa, ensuring the delivery of exceptional wellness and spa services that contribute to an outstanding guest experience. Your role involves managing a high-performing spa team, optimizing services, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth. You will ensure all treatments, facilities, and wellness offerings meet high standards while promoting the spa to attract and retain guests, fostering long-term relationships. Additionally, you will ensure the spa operates within budget, adheres to health and safety standards, and innovates to stay competitive in the luxury hospitality market.

Major Skills and Accountabilities: Exceptional upselling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Decisions on promotions and staffing based on service revenue metrics. Knowledge of therapies and ensuring treatments comply with legislation and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily spa operations, ensuring high service levels and team performance.
  • Provide ongoing training and keep staff updated on treatments, trends, and customer service.
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and morale.
  • Ensure all services exceed guest expectations and address guest concerns promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
  • Maintain a relaxing, clean, and serene spa environment.
  • Oversee scheduling, bookings, and treatment coordination.
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
  • Manage equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Develop and manage the spa budget, controlling costs and analyzing KPIs.
  • Create pricing strategies and collaborate on marketing initiatives.
  • Develop new treatments and experiences to enhance the wellness offerings.
  • Engage with guests for upselling and promoting services.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Manage inventory and procurement efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and resort policies.
  • Track KPIs and report performance to senior management.
  • Set and monitor team goals.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Regularly review and update the spa menu and treatments.
  • Promote sustainability practices within the spa operations.

Experience and Qualifications: Graduate or relevant diploma; 10-12 years of experience in luxury hotel brands; experience in wellness is a plus.
