Role & Responsibilities – Event Manager As an Event Manager at Moon Rooftop Bar and Lounge, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional event experiences while driving business growth. Your key responsibilities include: Sales & Client Engagement Receive, handle, and convert meetings, events, and group enquiries. Present and sell suitable event options to clients with professionalism and flair. Negotiate space, dates, and rates to meet booking goals, focusing on shoulder and off‑peak seasons. Engage with clients via email, phone, and in‑person meetings, including site inspections. Event Planning & Execution Manage end‑to‑end planning and execution of events, from scope definition to post‑event feedback. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Directors, bar, and kitchen crew) to ensure seamless logistics. Prepare sales presentations, quotations, and invoices in compliance with company policies and legal standards. Be present during events to oversee flawless execution and client satisfaction. Business Development & Strategy Identify low‑demand periods and implement targeted sales activities to boost bookings. Develop and promote event packages to attract conference and repeat business. Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, and client interactions. Actively manage bookings, record denials, and make referrals within the network. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with clients to understand and meet their needs. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business. Follow up on feedback and offer after‑sales support. Operational Excellence Review availability monthly to manage demand and avoid over/under booking. Ensure all enquiries are accurately recorded in the Event Enquiry system. Maintain an ecosystem events calendar for internal coordination. Market Research & Innovation Conduct research to identify new B2B markets, prospects, and partnerships. Help expand the venue’s banquet business through strategic outreach. Other Duties Perform additional tasks as assigned by management within the scope of the role. Qualifications & Requirements Eligibility : Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only. Education : Minimum GCE O‑Level qualification; diploma or degree holders are preferred. Experience : Proven track record in direct sales. Language Proficiency : Strong command of spoken and written English; Mandarin an added advantage. Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Work Style : Team player who can work independently, including from home when required. Industry Passion : Genuine interest in the F&B and hospitality industry.
