We are seeking an Assistant Director, Product Strategy to work closely with the team to define the overall product direction to address priority challenges, provide strategic consultation across products, and do whatever it takes — including hands-on support with teams — to validate and execute product strategy.

Mandatory Skill-set
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business;
  • At least 8 years of experience in Product and Project management of projects involving digital technologies, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role;
  • Experience in managing end to end Product Lifecycle from concept, design, prototyping, testing, adoption and product end-of-life;
  • Proven product and Go-to-Market strategy development and execution competency;
  • Strong knowledge of the latest IT industry practices and solutions with strong aptitude for IT and Digital Solutions;
  • Good understanding of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, IoT;
  • Robust and practical knowledge of business transformation with digital technology;
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and focus on details rather than solely big-picture thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions (both internal and external), mediate conflicts and build consensus;
  • Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive self-starter, analytical, self-motivated, high energy and driven yet able to work well within a team and motivate the team;
  • Excellent writing, presentation and people engagement skills.
Desired Skill-set
  • Experience in entrepreneurial, corporate/business strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of overarching product strategies by identifying high-impact problem areas, evaluating their potential, formulating hypotheses, and de-risking key challenges. Potential focus areas include modular enterprise platforms and data products.
  • Act as a product consultant to sharpen product thinking—crafting clear product one-pagers and partnering with teams to co-develop go-to-market strategies that enhance product impact and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the adoption of consistent, high-quality product practices across teams and the wider ecosystem. This includes developing shared tools, standardized ways of working, and embedding these practices across the organisation.
  • Review and refine internal policies, funding frameworks, and regulatory processes to remove barriers and create space for greater experimentation and innovation.
  • Coordinate across both external and internal teams to ensure alignment of strategy and implementation.
