In this role, you will help develop, foster, and sustain a sound Integrity and Compliance culture and lead, embed, and strengthen the Compliance Program. The Compliance Function runs an effective program designed to ensure compliance with anti-corruption and other laws, regulations, and industry best practices, to promote ethical behavior and to prevent and detect misconduct. The Senior Compliance Manager APAC will be the primary compliance advisor for Pall in the APAC region. This position reports to the Global Compliance Director and is part of the Legal & Compliance team. It is an onsite role located in Benoi, Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In This Role You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Review and advise on business activities and strategies and support implementation of Compliance systems, processes, and controls.
  • Modify, update and implement Compliance policies and procedures, and design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop risk management strategies and implement internal design controls to mitigate business risks, including third party/distributor risk management.
  • Conduct regular compliance auditing and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of compliance systems, processes, and controls, and implement any required remedial actions.
  • Promote Danaher's Code of Conduct, core values, Speak Up program, and conduct investigations and oversee related corrective actions.
Essential Requirements
  • 5+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries, or a similarly highly regulated industry.
  • B.A. or B.S. or similar university degree required.
  • Business minded, risk conscious, proactive, solutions-oriented, and self-motivated professional who can explain complex compliance points to the business and translate concerns into compliant strategies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a wide variety of audiences. Fluency in English; fluency in other languages spoken in the APAC region is preferable.
Travel
  • Ability to travel (~10%) and visit sites within the region on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries or other highly regulated industries.
  • CCEP-I or similar compliance or risk management certification.
  • Data privacy program experience is a plus, but not required.
